ISAT2

The ISAT2 is a tool that may be used by post-secondary institutions to self-assess their capacity to support open educational practices (OEP) as well as the maturity of their OEP initiatives. The ISAT2 carries a Creative Commons Attribution license and is available in English and French.

The ISAT2 is an adaptation of the ISAT (Institutional Self-Assessment Tool), which was published in 2021 by Tannis Morgan, Elizabeth Childs, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Harrison, Irwin DeVries, and Rajiv Jhangiani. The ISAT2 also draws on the Quick Scan Open Educational Practices (van Rossum & Schuwer, 2022).

The ISAT2 was developed by Rajiv Jhangiani, Robert Luke, Catherine Lachaîne, and Oya Pakkal as part of a research project to assess the capacity of Ontario’s post-secondary institutions to support OEP. This project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
